There are several awards available to club members.
Special Championship Award
For dog/bitch gaining 8 challenges at specialist shows only. (Applications to the secretary with 8 challenge certificates)
GSDAC Breeders Sash
For breeder of Best in Show available at all club shows. Clubs to apply to the Secretary.
Breed Support Awards
Special award to any person considered to have given much support to the breed over a considerable time.
This can be applied for by individuals or clubs.
Dual Purpose Certificates
For GSD's gaining both a conformation excellent and a test C excellent (290 points) at GSD club championship shows.
Kennel Certificates
15 hip and/or elbow - scored dogs, passed by Aus or NZ scheme - or
15 breed surveyed dogs - or
5 dogs gaining WQ passes - or
5 dogs gaining Endurance Test passes – or
5 dogs Structural Assessment passes
Kennel Plaques
30 hip and/or elbow - scored dogs, passed by Aus or NZ scheme - or
30 breed survey dogs passes - or
10 dogs gaining WQ passes - or
10 dogs gaining Endurance Test passes – or
10 dogs Structural Assessment passes
All animals must carry the breeder‘s kennel name but need not be owned by the breeder.
NB: The BS awards apply to current breed surveys only, but include animals that have died or were neutered while a current survey was in force.
